Cornelia Lenzin - Piano

After studying in Basel, Bonn and Freiburg im Breisgau, the pianist has focused on chamber music and song accompaniment; she also plays in various Swiss orchestras.
The Basel native performs with various chamber music formations and as a song accompanist in Switzerland, Germany and Spain. She performs in regular formations with the soprano Aurea Marston (Basel), the tenor Francisco Arbós, the saxophonist Elisa Urrestarazu Capellán (Malaga) and the Marcelo Nisinman Trio. She likes to advocate for rarely played and unknown music. Performing compositions by women is a field of special interest to her.

Since 2015, the pianist has been planning and playing exciting programs with Basel composers for the concert series "Basel komponiert" at the Museum Kleines Klingental, Basel.
For some time now, the musician has been living and working more in her second home in Andalusia, where she has already performed in well-known concert series such as "Una hora de Cámara de la OCG" in Granada, "Noches en los jardines del real alcazar" in Seville, the "Sociedad Filarmonica de Málaga" and the "Conciertos Fundación Unicaja".
