Massimo Mazzoni - saxophone
is considered one of the major Italian performers of classical and contemporary saxophone repertory. He began collaborating with various symphonic orchestras at the early age of 18, with conducters as Prètre, Sawallisch, Oren, Gavazzeni und Muti. He has recorded for famous international record companies and has performed for the most important concert organizations in Europe, America and Asia. As President of the Italian Saxophonists Association he annually organizes the International Stage for Saxophone since 1994 in Fermo, Italy. There he is also Professor of Saxophone and from 2011 to 2017 he was Director.
